A NEW AND EXCITING YEAR OF CHOIR!
The pandemic will NOT keep us down! We have lots of great music to learn and perform!
Come on out and sing, strum, ring, or just listen and tap your feet!
Enjoy all that the choir program at LHHS has to offer. Join Mr. David V. Montoya in his 21st year of
music making at LHHS! Mr. Montoya brings his 29 years of experience as a teacher, plus his work with
the California Choral Directors Association (CCDA) as an active board member,
and his work as a professional composer to the La Habra choral community.
Read more about Mr. M by visiting www.MontoyaMusic.com.
This year, Mr. Tom Nichols will continue on as Barbershop Coach. Why not get three friends together and start a quartet? We also have our Bell Choir director Mackenzie Rosales returning to teach students
how to ring handbells and chimes. And, of course, Ukulele Ensemble will carry on!
SIGN UPS ARE HAPPENING NOW! Join the choir for the 2021-2022 school year when we hope to be back fully in our classrooms, singing and making beautiful music in-person! Sign up with your counselor to take
Concert Choir or come out and audition for Chamber Singers (Vocal Ensemble) during the week of APRIL 5, 2021.
Please go to the choir room 370 for more information,
or email Mr. Montoya at dmontoya@fjuhsd.org.
Want to learn skills that will last for the rest of your life?
Want to perform a choral masterwork with a professional orchestra?
